Faith of a Mustard Seed

For almost seven years, we’ve been praying by name for a young man we’ll call Isaac. We first met him in high school. Though he never shared in our faith, he continually showed up to tournaments, Bible studies, and anything our ministry offered. Over the years, he has studied Scripture deeply, asked thoughtful questions, and remained genuinely curious about Jesus.

Recently, something shifted. Without any prompting, Isaac began attending church. He’s now having meaningful theological conversations and is standing right on the edge of giving his life to Christ. What’s been especially beautiful is that many of his questions are going to the young men he grew up with in our programs, young men he’s watched become strong followers of Jesus. Their example has shaped him more than they know.

Then, just two days after initially submitting this story, Isaac shared something remarkable. When his sister faced complications during childbirth and was rushed to the hospital, he remembered a past conversation about the “faith of a mustard seed.” At that moment, he prayed. After church this week, he shared, “I found that faith of a mustard seed… and my sister’s baby is healthy.”

Please continue praying for Isaac and for the young men who are walking with him. God is clearly moving in his life.
